In the year 2016, is where I found my passion that I believe to be my purpose in life. I haven't put the camera down since then. My name Matt Thompson also known by my nickname Ghost. The Holy Ghost is the spirit of God. I was born and raised in the Boogie Down Bronx! Since a youth my family was big on church. There's different kind of church communities out there and different ways of doing sermons. I grew up in a Baptist church, where you’ll see people shout and cry, up and down the aisles. This was considered the Holy Ghost coming alive, uplifting your spirit to the most high! The Holy Ghost helped people become their true selfs. See, the Holy Ghost is not seen by anyone, but is only felt with good energy to uplift your spirit. I wanted to create this in my art in someway, by expressing my relationship with God through images. I want my images to be felt within rather it just being seen as a normal photo, by creating a image reflecting a shadow or a mysterious spirit inside someone. In the photography world, we’ll call it a double exposure, but with my sauce it’s a Ghost effect! Everyone has the Holy Ghost in them, you just have to know your true self and have your own relationship with God, the most high!
